How can I secure my gazebo in windy conditions?

A party or pop-up tent is only suitable for use in certain weather conditions, such as strong winds, snowfall, hail, etc. The safest method to secure your tent is by anchoring it to the ground. For this purpose, we offer the following securing options: Storm set, guyline set, and ground spike anchors. If you are on a hard surface where you cannot fix ground pegs, we recommend weighting down your tent. For this, we offer weight bags, which can be filled with sand or gravel up to 10 kg. Alternatively, we offer 10 kg professional steel weights. Even if your tent is equipped with weights, it should not be left unattended. Walls and Wind: The walls can be both a blessing and a curse in windy conditions. The walls act as stabilizers, similar to cross-braces, which is good. However, make sure your tent is closed to the wind. If the tent is open to the wind, the walls have the opposite effect. The wind gets trapped under the roof and lifts the tent, or the horizontal force on the tent multiplies. If you have no chance to secure the tent adequately with guy lines, there is only one option when wind arises: Immediately reduce the wind exposure area. Remove all walls and the roof immediately.
