What is the difference between powder-coated and galvanized poles?

The framework of our party tents is generally powder-coated. This involves applying a fine-grained granulate and baking it in an oven at around 200°C. This process eliminates any color drips, making the framework more resistant to mechanical stress and easier to clean. We offer a 5-year warranty against rusting⁵ on all metal parts. Additionally, the appearance and feel of the powder coating are noticeably higher in quality. The advantages of powder coating: - Protection against corrosion - Environmentally friendly - Solvent-free finishing - Weather resistance Many other manufacturers, on the other hand, galvanize the framework. However, in this process, only the raw material is galvanized, and the welded joints are subsequently treated with simple zinc paint. Before the initial use of a tent, all parts must be cleaned of the preserved oil layer. This process is not only laborious but also unsightly, as the outer zinc layer immediately oxidizes afterward. The advantages of galvanization: - Protection against corrosion - Economically, galvanized steel is cheaper - Weather resistance
